5 Meatless Family Meals

- Tracey Stewart

The more I learn about food the more I’m looking to change what I put on my families’ table. It’s a challenge but I’m making great strides by slowly introducing really yummy healthy food. It’s also helped to get my kids involved not only in the preparation for the meal but also with the shopping. I make sure to explain why I’m choosing to eat certain things and not others, but I don’t force them to do the same.  I think ultimately a dietary choice that comes from one’s heart rather than force will be a more lasting one.

This month, to celebrate Gene Baur's new book, he is sharing with us some fantastic recipes that will get the whole family happy to sit down to a whole food, plant-based meal. From Living The Farm Sanctuary Life these FIVE weeknight dinner recipes will help you in your efforts to provide healthy yummy foods that don't just get made, but get eaten too!

I’m so excited about your magazine! Food is often the biggest hurdle for people yearning to live a more compassionate lifestyle. Giving up old favorites, that are sometimes connected to potent memories of family gatherings or holidays, is a lot easier when there are new favorites ready to be eaten…or easy modifications to make a dish meatless. Thanks for the recipes

Another YUMMY and EASY product i recently found was MADE IN NATURE!  MADE IN NATURE has ORGANIC “Ancient Grain Fusion” packets. (one of which is NOT Vegan.. the Mediterranean Feta).  Simply open and pop in the microwave. Not even a large amount of sodium! WIn-Win!
